A gorgeous London Winter Wedding...
I am very excited to unveil a beautiful Christmas wedding all the team here at Little Eglantine worked for during last Fall…
I was first contacted by Annabel, the mother of the groom, back in August, who was overlooking the flower girl and page boy outfits for her son’s wedding. Tiggy, the bride-to-be and herself had a clear vision of what they wanted for the girls. They very much liked our Camille flower girl dress, with its ¾ length sleeves and silk organza overskirt. They both were first thinking of a green velvet sash but finally opted for our burgundy velvet ribbon sash.
It was quite something to organise as there were 11 children in total… six adorable girls and four boys, all aged from 3 to 7 years… A lovely and beautiful children bridal party in the making!
All the boys were to wear white cotton Mandarin shirts with white taffeta ¾ button shorts and matching burgundy velvet cummerbunds. Tiggy decided that the two eldest twins would also wear the military jackets we designed for Princess Claire of Luxembourg, but this time matching the burgundy velvet cummerbunds.
Striking the pose before the ceremony…
We always make sure to get all the children’s measurements 3 months before the wedding, so that we can anticipate their growth and recommend which size is best to order for a perfect fit on the D day… it was quite something for 11 children! But how exciting!
We also provided the bridesmaid of Honour with the same burgundy velvet ribbon sash the flower girls were wearing.

The couple stayed at The Ritz in a beautiful suite and they opened up the Royal Suite for them to have photos in.
Tiggy and Edward exchanged vows in St Margaret's, Westminster Abbey, surrounded by a beautiful full choir and a trumpeter.
Their entrance music was Henry Purcell Trumpet Tune in C Major played by the Trumpet Tune and the happy couple walked out to the Entrance of the Queen of Sheba. They had around 300 guests to the church and first reception.
The first reception was in the Cholmondeley Room, House of Lords overlooking the Thames. Everyone walked across from the Abbey as it is practically opposite, for Champagne, canapés and a few speeches.
Edward then drove the bride back to the Ritz to change for the evening reception. Cue her wild leotard outfit!
They had the whole of Tramp for their evening reception for dinner drinks and dancing until 5am, so this was the naughty part, no adults allowed only us and 150 of their friends! Tiggy arrived in Red jacket and leotard underneath.

Dear Tiggy and Edward, all the Little Eglantine team wishes you both the most happy and joyful life together! xxx
